The extensive product range is manufactured to the highest standards at mills in Central Europe, including Ehingen in Alb-Donau-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg. The Sappi mill in Ehingen uses advanced technologies to ensure an efficient production process and outstanding product quality. The integrated mill produces completely chlorine-free sulfite pulp from beech and spruce, mainly for its own paper production. Sappi Ehingen produces a wide range of coated printing papers in web or sheet format, with matt or silk matt finishes as well as the Sappi Fusion Topliner®.
The 500 employees and 25 apprentices at the mill work with advanced technology and guarantee an excellent production flow and outstanding product quality. Aside from optimising the processes, the corporate policy focuses on measures to further reduce environmental pollution and increase so called green energy efficiency. The employees’ ideas and commitment play a key role in continuously improving the production process, product quality and our environ- mental performance.
