Started by two real estate agents in their 20s with a pen and pad in 1973, RE/MAX has since grown into a vast, global organization. With their successful real estate agents, RE/MAX helps more families to buy or sell their property than any other brokerage company in the world every year.

Residented in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, RE/MAX Germany Southwest is one of six master franchise regions in Germany with responsibility for the States of Baden- Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz and Saarland. Kurt Friedl has been the CEO since 2005. There are around 70 real estate offices and 300 agents in the Southwest region. Worldwide more than 110,000 real estate agents work in around 7,000 offices in more than 100 countries. In Germany, about 700 agents are active in around 200 offices.
